In September 2025, Hayley joined HOTA’s Kids Take Over Festival as an Associate Producer through the Gold Coast Council’s Professional Placement Program. Over the 14-day festival, she worked closely with the HOTA team and participating artists to help deliver a “out of this world” program of workshops, performances, and creative experiences designed to inspire young audiences.

Across the two week festival, Hayley co-facilitated numerous creative workshops and led a recycled art-making activation where kids used cardboard to design and build their own imaginative spaceships.

HOTA (Home of the Arts) is the Gold Coast’s leading cultural precinct, dedicated to delivering bold, playful, and community-centred arts experiences. Their annual Kids Take Over Festival transforms the precinct into a creative playground, offering workshops, performances, and interactive installations designed to spark imagination and inspire young people.
