In 2026, Hayley was a recipient of a Queensland Government Queensland Youth Week Community Events Grant, through the Queensland Youth Week program. With this support, she delivered Expressions of Youth, a series of creative pop-up workshops with young consumers connected to Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.

The project engaged young people in accessible, hands-on artmaking activities designed to support self-expression, wellbeing, and connection within a healthcare context. Works created across the activations culminated in a collaborative artwork, now permanently displayed within the service, celebrating the voices, creativity, and resilience of young people.

The project was informed by Hayley’s lived experience as a young person navigating healthcare settings. It reflects her belief in the value of creative expression in supporting young people’s wellbeing and connection.
